What we collect
- When you contact us or send a booking inquiry: your name, email address, phone number, the trip you’re interested in, your preferred dates, the number of guests, and anything you write in your message.
- When you book a charter: the details needed to arrange your trip, such as your name, contact information, dates and number of guests.
- When you pay: card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles it under its own privacy policy.
- Basic technical information: like most websites, our site and web host automatically record standard information such as your browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your questions, plan and confirm your charter, take payments and issue refunds, send booking details and boarding instructions, and run our business.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Stripe, to process payments
- Google, which provides our business email and stores our website backups
- Our website hosting company, which runs thirstylady.com
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our guests, crew or boat.
Cookies
Our website uses a small number of cookies, small files stored in your browser, that it needs to work properly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking information as long as we need it to serve you, run our business, and meet tax and recordkeeping requirements. After that, we delete it.
Keeping it safe
We use reputable services, secure connections, and password-protected accounts to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
Children
Our website isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. Children are welcome aboard with their families, and a parent or guardian handles the booking.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it for legal or tax reasons. Just call, text or email Stephanie using the contact details above.
