Thirsty Lady Cruises

  This was a really special trip for myself, my husband, and our 7 year old daughter. Captain Pat and PJ are really amazing. They are kind, funny, and really know... read more sailing and their way around the boat. Our first night we went on a beautiful sunset sail, and stayed in a marina with by far the best marina amenities I have ever seen. The following day we set sail to the reef to go snorkeling. the seas were a bit high, so I unfortunately came down with a pretty bad bout of seasickness. It was a bit embarrassing, and very uncomfortable, but captain pat and PJ were very accommodating and really very helpful and nice about it. That evening we spent the night on the boat in the marina near duval. we had a nice dinner out at a great place recommended by the captain, and had the most amazing sleep I've had in a while. If you are questioning whether or not to do this, just do it! Our daughter still is talking about captain pat and PJ. we made some wonderful memories for a lifetime. Juniper will always remember being "2nd mate" and helping out in her little ways.

Pat and PJ were awesome and despite poor sea conditions still took us out on the water for a sunset cruise. The sailboat handled the conditions very well and Capt. Pat’s years of experience shined. The other plus were the accommodations at the local marinas are top notch. So even though you feel like you are camping out on a sailboat a bit. Getting to use the ocean edge and downtown key west marina facilities balances out perfectly well. I would re-book a stay on the Thirsty lady again. My family had a great time.
