Thirsty Lady Cruises

  Our family adventure on the Thirsty Lady was better than we could have ever anticipated. Captain Pat, Pj and Stephanie were perfect hosts. We loved eating dinner and listening to... read more live music at Hogfish Bar & grill on Stock Island. The teenage girls had a blast swimming at the 6 pools at the Oceans Edge Resort & Marina. We had perfect weather to snorkel with turtles, parrotfish, queen angelfish, and more. We all enjoyed our ghost tour on the Trolley of the Doomed on Duval Street. My only regret is that we did not stay for 3 nights. If the Thirsty Lady ever offers week long trips to Cuba, we will be the first on board.

They were both patient with the 1000s of questions our kids had about sailing and the keys and let them help with the lines.

We had a sunset cruise and over the next 2 days went to 2 snorkeling locations and saw sea turtles, sharks, fish and coral galore.

The marinas we spent the nights in were beautiful with great amenities and even better views. We loved exploring duval street when docked in town and swam while watching a movie by one of the 6 pool at the other.

This is a sailboat not a luxury yacht so its more like spending the night in a Rv than a hotel or house. We cooked dinner on the boat twice and had everything we needed.

We all have tans and are tired from all the adventures but the kids are already begging to come back and do it again.

Pat and PJ were awesome and despite poor sea conditions still took us out on the water for a sunset cruise. The sailboat handled the conditions very well and Capt. Pat’s years of experience shined. The other plus were the accommodations at the local marinas are top notch. So even though you feel like you are camping out on a sailboat a bit. Getting to use the ocean edge and downtown key west marina facilities balances out perfectly well. I would re-book a stay on the Thirsty lady again. My family had a great time.
