  This was a really special trip for myself, my husband, and our 7 year old daughter. Captain Pat and PJ are really amazing. They are kind, funny, and really know... read more sailing and their way around the boat. Our first night we went on a beautiful sunset sail, and stayed in a marina with by far the best marina amenities I have ever seen. The following day we set sail to the reef to go snorkeling. the seas were a bit high, so I unfortunately came down with a pretty bad bout of seasickness. It was a bit embarrassing, and very uncomfortable, but captain pat and PJ were very accommodating and really very helpful and nice about it. That evening we spent the night on the boat in the marina near duval. we had a nice dinner out at a great place recommended by the captain, and had the most amazing sleep I've had in a while. If you are questioning whether or not to do this, just do it! Our daughter still is talking about captain pat and PJ. we made some wonderful memories for a lifetime. Juniper will always remember being "2nd mate" and helping out in her little ways.

After a Key West sunset sail, for dinner we stopped into the Hogfish Bar & Grill, a local fisherman’s pirate bar, the food was really good, definitely try their house speciality Hogfish sandwich. We had some great sailing and reef snorkeling on our second day and stayed at the Opal key Resort & Marina (formally Margaritaville Ket West Resort & Marina), this puts you a few blocks from old town key west shops and bars where you can party till the roosters crow!
