We had a sunset cruise and over the next 2 days went to 2 snorkeling locations and saw sea turtles, sharks, fish and coral galore.

The marinas we spent the nights in were beautiful with great amenities and even better views. We loved exploring duval street when docked in town and swam while watching a movie by one of the 6 pool at the other.

This is a sailboat not a luxury yacht so its more like spending the night in a Rv than a hotel or house. We cooked dinner on the boat twice and had everything we needed.

We all have tans and are tired from all the adventures but the kids are already begging to come back and do it again.

The thirsty lady was beautiful and an excellent home away from home for a couple nights. It was awesome staying at the opel key marina and being just a couple blocks away from old town key west. I highly recommend this sailboat experience and would love to come back again in the future.

My husband... read more I and I boarded the Thirsty Lady excited for some sun, sailing and local flavor and came away with a trip that will always be at the top of our most amazing travels list. Where we went and what we did was tailored by these hosts specifically for us and gave us a little bit of everything. Some down time, lots of sail time, the experience of spending a few days aboard a boat and marina life as well as tips and advice on where the best and not to miss places in Key West were for people like us who had never visited this part of Florida before. Next day we sailed over to the best location you could want to do all the touristy things in Key West. Location could not be better. Last full day we went out for amazing snorkeling. My kids, wife and I had so much fun.

So much to say about the hospitality of Captain Pat, PJ and Stephanie. Great stories from the Captain. You would never guess the 2 jobs he had before he moved to the Keys. Local tips for things to do and places to eat were spot on. The boat was perfect for our family of five. Really get to experience living on a boat without any of the hassles. They make sure everything is good to go for being at the dock (air conditioning!) and they have everything for snorkeling including plenty of towels. Just bring sunscreen and your bathing suits.

The marinas were awesome. The bathrooms were spotless, modern, and private. We had one of those showers after a day on the boat when you feel like a million bucks afterward. The pools were modern and fun.

I couldn’t imagine having a better experience and I know my kids will remember this trip forever because of this experience.

The only thing that’s out of their control is the weather so be flexible. We had perfect weather one day and one day we decided to just sail from marina to marina because it was a bit rough but that ended up being perfect so we could do the tourist thing.
